Each Spring, VAHCDO awards scholarships to five high school seniors to further their education.  Eligible applicants for these scholarships are residents of public housing communities or households assisted through the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program.  VAHCDO member agencies are encouraged to identify high achieving youth in their jurisdictions and to submit applications to the VAHCDO Scholarship Committee. 

Application packets are annually provided to VAHCDO member agencies and posted on the VAHCDO website.  Scholarship recipients are honored each year at the VAHCDO Annual Conference and Scholarship Lunch in May.
