NRHA ANNOUNCES KEY EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS

NORFOLK, VA (FEBRUARY 19, 2016) – NORFOLK REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY (NRHA) HAS ANNOUNCED THE FOLLOWING APPOINTMENTS:

Phyllis S. Armistead

Chief Housing Officer

Phyllis S. Armistead has been promoted to Chief Housing Officer, where she will be responsible for a portfolio of about 3,500 assisted-rental units at 15 properties and 2,800 Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV). Armistead has worked for NRHA for over 25 years and served in such capacities as Midrise Manager, Elderly Program Manager, Director of Property Management, Interim Director of Client Services, and Programs Development Director. Before joining NRHA, Armistead was the Associate Director of Resource Distribution and Planning, Peninsula United Way in Hampton, Virginia.

James N. Hollomon

Chief Marketing Officer

James N. “Jim” Hollomon has been promoted to Chief Development Officer. He will direct all redevelopment, real estate management, development grants management and property rehabilitation functions. Hollomon fills the position previously held by John C. Kownack, who became the Authority’s Executive Director April 2015. Hollomon has worked NRHA for more than 38 years, and served in such capacities as Real Estate Technician, Business Relocation Specialist, Relocation Manager, Renewal Services Director, and most recently, Real Estate Services Director.

Michael G. Clark
Real Estate Services Director

Michael G. Clark has been promoted to Real Estate Services Director. Clark has been employed NRHA for over 29 years, and held positions as Senior Real Estate Development Specialist and Neighborhood Services Director. Clark will oversee project management for real estate development initiatives as well as property maintenance programs.
