2020 VAHCDO Legal and Policy Conference
The 2020 VAHCDO Legal and Policy Seminar will be held virtually but will include the same in-depth analysis of legal issues that we face as affordable housing developers and multifamily property owners. As in past years, all sessions are designed for Housing Authority leaders, municipal community development officials, and attorneys involved with housing and community development issues.
Scheduled speakers include Adrianne Todman, CEO of NAHRO; Lisa Walker, CEO & General Counsel for HDLI; Chip “John G.” Dicks, Gentry Locke Attorneys; Martin Wegbreit, Director of Litigation for Virginia Central Legal Aide Society; and Stephanie Morales, Commonwealth Attorney for the City of Portsmouth, VA. Participants will be briefed on proposed legislative activity, we will hear about relevant court cases from around the country, as well as issues with expanding and preserving affordable housing opportunities.
This year, the 2020 VAHCDO Legal and Policy Seminar will be free to all VAHCDO members but registration is still required. Click Here to register or contact us for information on membership.
